Lions are ordinary people doing extraordinary things.

Lions Club international is one of the world’s largest non-governmental organisations headquartered in Illinois in the USA, which is made up of local clubs helping local communities. Lions Clubs are made up of people who want to make their community better, build relationships and improve the world through their kindness and generosity.

Our international club is made up of over 1.4 million men and women all over the world with the same vision of a better world and a better future for this world that we live in. Irish Lions from both the Irish Republic and Northern Ireland form our District, known as District 133.

The Naas club, which meets on the first Wednesday of each month, is comprised of up to 19 members from different backgrounds and cultures, who come together with the goal of helping to make Naas and the wider community a better place for all.   

Each year we hold a number of events and activities, all with the goal of helping the Naas Community.
